Dear all
My black winter coat which I love has gone rather bobbly. I don't really want to take it to the dry cleaners as I'm skint and don't really want to be without it while they are doing it.
Can anyone recomend a cheap 'at home' thiing I could do to de-bobble it and make it look smart again.
Thanks
SM

I have one of these from John Lewis: http://www.johnlewis.com/Home+and+Garden/Bedroom/+Bedroom+Accessories+/Clothescare/4718/230215352/Product.aspx but you can probably get something identical cheaper than that.

You could use a disposable razor to remove the bobbles if it's not too bad [check in an inconspicious area first].

I bought a 'sweater de-fuzzer' from our local poundland. Its powered by batteries and its BRILLIANT!!! It literally shaves the bobbles from your clothes.
I spent a fantastic evening 'shaving' all my clothes that were too bobbly to wear! It works wonders.

I have used a bic style razor before. I have laid the item out on the ironing board to get it flat then shaved it.
If you do this, please take care as one slip and you will have a tear and ruin your coat.
Would love one of those sweater defuzzers from poundland.:hello:0
