Evening all, hopefully Moozie is managing ok and isn't too stressed out.

Today £3.60 at school fayre but came back with a scarf, lego, a toy truck, star wars toys, smellies and a disposable camera from the tombola. Kids decided they were taking their own money to spend so 'Mam can't say not buying it' lol they know me too well. I would have spent more but ended up helping on stalls and with other things so by the time I got chance to look round most had gone :(

Anyway that's all for the day, the childrens swimming has been cancelled :( so they aren't happy bunnies so a night in for us, hopefully they'll be in bed earlier, but sat munching on homemade biccys with warm milk for now :)
One day I might be more organised...........

Don't get despondent! You're not a skinflint - why should you buy any more presents just because someone says you should. Its your money so spend it as you see fit. Yes, it would be lovely to go and buy things without having to count the cost but how would that make you feel afterwards? Probably guilty and regretful. Stick to your guns and dont worry about the kids - they'll have enough. Chin up!

Thanks mrs (no)money,I want to cancel christmas, but know I can't,I'm getting worked up about my parents coming for christmas dinner, they are responsible for getting me into this bad mood  .As a lot of people on here know my parents are extremely wealthy and money is no object. My mother has started complaining about 'only' having turkey and gammon for dinner, she wants beef and pork aswell  I can't afford to pay for this and they won't help.My father asked what wine we will be having with dinner,I said smartprice if they sell that,he hit the roof and said he likes chateau neuf du papes and a few bottles of Moet and Chandon, but he won't buy it,they say I invited them, therefore I should pay, which I am doing, but my way  I've spent most of the day crying wishing I could divorce my parents  mum thinks the whole world revolves around her.
DH is wonderful,he loves my christmas dinners as does anyother who comes, why can't my parents let me get on with it my way or if they want these things, why can't they pay towards them?
There rant over,I was going to post on the relationships thread, but now I don't have to:o  :D
