An AVC is typically linked to the main scheme. So, it is just the AVC or the main scheme as well that you are having a problem with?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Thanks for the speedy response.
No Problem with the main fund. Pension has nbeen in payment for five years but AVC's had only been in payment for three months when prognosis given. Standard Life lit said Trustees had discretion to refund within first twelve months of payment but have been declined.
Would greatly appreciate any information you can give.0
