Baskin Robbins icecream £1 for 500ml in Heron Foods

I usually hang out on the Vent board these days, but I though I would pass this on. My local Heron Frozen Foods shop had 3 flavours of icecream at £1 for 500ml - Hokey Pokey (caramel and honeycomb toffee), Mint Choc Chip, and Cookies and Cream. Never had B R icecream but I understand it is usually expensive.

I have seen the Thorntons icecream in Heron in the last few months but not today. That's the trouble with places like Heron - it's all a bit hit and miss. They had a spell a couple of years ago of selling very nice German icecream called Movenpick. That's definitely worth a try if you see it. They sometimes have Ben and Jerrys for £1 too. I bought 3 tubs of the BR to try and will be interested in how it compares to other upmarket brands.0
