I'm just wondering how you grate mozzarella. It's all soft and squidgy.
A quick internet search comes up with conflicting info'.
Some sources just say no.
Others say yes, if it's shredded and kept for no more than 2 months. However, it evidently loses moisture and becomes crumbly when frozen. You have to thaw it slowly in the refrigerator and keep it in there for at least a week to allow it to re-absorb the liquid before using it.
Frankly, this all seems like too much of a palaver to me.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

I get Discover Mozzarella. I always grate the whole block, use half and put the other half in the freezer. Works fine

Hi
I buy the square blocks not the balls as they are easier to grate - I beleieve you can freeze it as you can buy frozen pizzas with frozen mozarella on them?
