I used credit experts free trial, and cancelled straight away.
To be honest I find giving them a bell and getting a paper copy for £2 is much better value

Well i am a member of credit expert from experian also and i have found it invaluable recently as my identity has been stolen and i would never have known it without having been a member of experian online.
I know what you mean about it saying it's having problems, it does this every night! they seem to shut the site down so you cannot access your credit report at night hours but i've never had a problem during the day.
Yes it is £6 a month give or take a penny but it has just saved me what could have been thousands. The tennents at my old house have used my name to open about 6 different accounts with catalogues and also got a store card. Luckily i spotted this about a month after they had done it and the police are now involved, but if i had not had experian i might not have spotted it till a year or so later by which time they could have got god knows how many credit cards and so forth and i would be paying the bill.
The CID officer that came round last week said he had dealt with a similar case last year and the guy got caught but not after he had run up over £30,000 in goods and credit over a year and a bit, and CID said they had to get a fleet of transit vans to his house as virtually everything in it was gained from the fraud and it all had to be taken away as evidence,0 -
£2 paper copy is all you need. Get one from all three agencies. You are being ripped off by paying for a 'score' as these figures mean nothing.0

Found the credit 'score' site, signed up for 'free trial' report, got it, read it. Not much use. Cancelled my 'subscription' but quick!0

Yup. But perfectly fine for those wanting to just do a simple one off check of their credit report. The postal code you need usually comes within 3 days, so quite quick.
Quicker and cheaper than sending for a paper copy of your report from Experian.0
