Hi there
I'm trying to speed up the breakfast routine!!! :wall: We have porridge with bits of apple & dates in it for breakfast. Can you peel apples at night & cut them up, so all you have to do in the morning is mix it into the porridge & zap it? Don't think vinegar or lemon juice will taste nice! _pale_
Hoping someone can help.
Thanks

Not sure, all I can think is
Air Tight Container
and/or
Fridge
Not sure if they will work though?0 -
Don't really know. I've made fruit salad with orange juice before, so maybe a bit of that might work instead of the lemon juice (or vinegar - yuk!) Might be worth a try - actually, might try it myself tomorrow nightHe who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Ooo, I do apple and cinnamon porridge every morning and I prepare it the night before. A couple of times a week, I stew a load of apples or pears, and keep that in the fridge in a small mixing bowl with a small plate as a lid (I'm convinced plastic containers change the flavour). Then each night I combine the porridge with the cinnamon and add a few spoonfuls of the stewed apple, then add enough milk to cover, put a lid on it, keep it in the fridge overnight, and microwave in the morning. Then some Greek-style yoghurt just before serving to make it nice and creamy.Context is all.
