Hi, I desperately need to start earning money, but I am unable to get a job outside the house, because of my OH's shift work and my daughter's school hours/days/holidays etc.
Does anyone know how to do this - yes I've seen some websites on the internet for these, but I'm always concerned about how genuine they are, and if they're scammers or not.
Thanks, any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Sam :T

I work for livelines.co.uk. They need more staff as long as you can log on for 25 hours a week. I do tarot card readings with them. They have other jobs as well.0

i too would like to do this, i am currently working part time but i am having trouble with childcare at the minute and typing at home would be brilliant for me. I will be interested in hearing if anyone knows of any places that do this.
Thanks0 -
I am interested as well, these jobs do seem pretty rare though, well at least the genuine ones anyway!0

I'd just say 'be careful'. Years ago, and long before the internet was widespread, I applied for a home typing job which was advertised at our local Job Centre. It all sounded bona fide; the interview even took place at the JC with the employer and his wife.
My new 'job' earned me £51 over 10 weeks - my employer demanded that I attend meetings with him 'for experience' (unpaid of course) and that I buy a smart suit to wear on those occasions (cost £49). As I worked from home he used to turn up at all times of the day and night, including when my OH was in work and I was in bed. He liked to leave things at my house which he could then pick up at his convenience. You've probably worked out that ten weeks working for him earned me the princely sum of £2 (and for that we had him turning up constantly although it was only classified as 'work' if my fingers were literally on the keyboard).
There are few people I actively avoid in my life but even now, after twenty years, whenever I spot this man coming towards me, I dive into a shop!
So, just be careful . . .0 -
Oh this would be perfect for me, I have a toddler and another on the way and struggle big time with child care and have terrified about not having enough money to live on once I go on maternity! I have been looking on line for ages so would be good to know of any "real" companies out there.0
