Sainsburys Meat reduced from £2.99 to £1

Under 'summer / manager specials,' Sainsburys burgers, Thai chicken, Lamb shoulder chops are reduced to £1 per pack. Not sure how many stores this offer is in. Includes some of the BBQ Sainsburys range, which were originally £2.99 or two for £5.

I saw the offer in the main store at Liverpool Road London N1 today. They were along the first isle from the entrance door. I don't usually go there as its not my local area, so I don't know if the offer has been on for long.0

Saw this last week in Aberdeen (prob Tues/Wed) and bought some for £1 each. Passed by at the weekend and it was normal price again. Not sure about this week.
Wonder if it's summer BBQ stock and it's cheap during the week then raise the prices when it's the weekend or prediction of heatwave?
Excellent value though. And most can be frozen for a sunny day!

I picked up some Fresh Chinese chicken drumsticks and Chicken Tikka goujons in White Rose Centre tonight, excellent value!0

saw a couple of their own frozen cocktail sausages 40s and frozen chipolatas (SEL thin sausages) 40s for only £0.50 down from £1.99 today

confirmed also in Grimsby branch hot and spicy chicken wings taste the difference burgers in variety of seasonings various seasoned kebabs also meatballs0

managed to grab most of what was left at my local, got 2 packs of minted lamb koftas, 3 packs of chinese style pork ribs, 2 packs of chicken wings, 1 pack of burgers, and 1 pack of chilli beef kebabs. left 2 packs of ribs looking lonely on the shelf, wish i'd got them aswell now. glad i managed to get some, 3 mile round trip walk for nothing would have been abit gutting lol0

yes its on in Ipswich Warren heath. just spent £30 :-) its my birthday fri and i feel a bbq coming on!!! all dates are 11th and 12th june on mine x0

this offer is also online too, I bought some taste the differnece burgers (4) and they went through for £1 lots of other pack and bits for
£1 too. pork spare ribs and marinated chicken fillets. its under summer bbq on the sainsburys website hthFrugal living challenge 2011
....Failing miserably so far!
