It's eerie! That phrase was posted by MTG at 19.12. I just googled the phrase 10 mins later, and google had spidered this thread already. Big brother is definitely watching.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
It's within 1/4 mile!
But, OK, nuff said.
Between the two there's definitely a 'separation' and you know when you're entering Radyr.
Your link showed probably the largest/nicest type of house available on Danescourt, the OP's living among some really large and very expensive houses. Posh neighbours, really posh.
The chavs from Fairwater will (and do) wander across to Danescourt regularly, they won't be bothered to go to Radyr as there's a sense of distance/separation and ... well, there's no shops/pub for them to hang around outside and chat up girls/smoke/buy booze.
Radyr = pretty chav free
Danescourt = you'll be aware of them walking along the through road.
Choice: live in a lovely house, that's as good as the neighbours' -or- live within a few hundred feet of some really big houses and get to say "I live in Radyr" in public. Most people don't know where Danescourt is, everybody has heard of Radyr.0 -

How about fridge magnets? Is it okay to have 'many people have eaten in this kitchen and survived'? Or will your house sale fall through on account of the fridge magnets being incredibly naff? Fridge magnets okay at all?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Change your MSE moniker from Radyrwife to DanescourtWife. Doesn't bear thinking about, I gather.
