FTB - Recently cleared credit history

Hello everyone,

Last year my boyfriend and I tried to buy a new build house with a 5% deposit but had it rejected due to my late payment history. I had no idea about this at the time and to cut a long story short I talked to the company involved and they removed everything off my credit history within a few months.
My credit score is perfect again, no bad history but it does show I was once rejected for a mortgage. Does anyone know if this affect me getting a mortgage in the future?

If anyone could help I would really appriciate it.

Thanks

I would think a 5% deposit and a new build would be more of a concern to the lenders...you would have been potentially in negative equity the minute you set through the door..

It will show on your record, but it doesnt mean you will be ruled out of a mortgage now if everything else stacks up better.
