Evening All,
If any of have expenses for work then you may be able to claim tax back. Even if you only claim for underpaid mileage it could help. This current tax years mileage allowance is 45p per mile up to 10,000 miles then 25p per mile above that.
You will need to keep a copy of your mileage claim forms and have the payslip where you were paid the rate. It is most common for councils etc to still be paying 40p/20p per mile.
There are other work related items you can claim for. Search for the form P87 on the government website.
