Selling valuable watches: best place?

Hello
I am having a clear out and found some watches that I no longer use. I have 3 altogether that I think may be worth about £200 in total (based on internet searches). What's the best way to go about selling them? I was thinking maybe value in a pawn brokers/jewelry shop to get an idea of exact worth and then perhaps sell on Ebay. Anyone got any suggestions?

Best and probably only option is ebay. Check out the completed listings for them to see what they go for.
TBH (and meaning no offence!), at roughly £60-£70 per watch they are not valuable watches, so you unlikley to be scammed. Equally, unless they are a particularly well known or wanted brand or style, you are unlikely to get what you think for them.
What 'internet searches' are there that you have done? If you have looked at what they go for when sold by businesses, then I would only expect to get about 25% of that value if selling privately.

I agree, where do you get a watch for less than £100 nowadays unless its a plastic digital one from one of the catalogue retailers? Not particularly valuable in my opinion. All i would ask tho is if they are metal, well if its a precious metak, then maybe consider the material and weight of the watch. Here to help and be helped!0 -
On our local radio there is a regular guest on the phone in who's an Auctioneer, he tries to give valuations on the air but often says things sound interesting and the people should contact a local Auction house who'll give them an idea of worth and the best way to sell. He often mentions Ebay depends on the item.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
