Can people on this forum provide names of a few good IFA's in Aberdeen as the one I had spoken to quoted rates higher than L&C?
Try Google, I would imagine most mortgage broker's websites will have costomer feedback :rotfl:I have been in the insurance industry for the past 6 1/2 years (protection products)
We have now bought our first home :j(completion date - 23.07.2010)
Wedding budget: £2,000 so far spent: £1,850. Wedding date of 27.08.2011 :T0 -
in Scotland you submit and offer subject to contract, if the offer is accepted the house is sold, subject to contrac (STC). if for any reason the mortgage doesn't go ahead you are not legally bound to buy the house, ONLY if you have not signed anything.0

In the last few days, I have spoken to 2 national brokers and 2 independent local brokers. They are all ready to pursue my case and await personal details from me to get an Agreement In Principal (AIP) with the lender.
I need to know if every AIP requires a credit search. If so, am I making a mistake in going for so many brokers at one time as it might damage my credit report?0
