LOL you start a diet and come off by Wednesday - that makes you super-duper self-disciplined in my book, I usually give in by Monday lunchtime:p
Sorry to hear about your Dad. I think you have the best approach being pragmatic, there is nothing you can do bar be around as much as possible and try and make life as comfortable and happy as you can for him.
Well done on the NSD. I keep trying for one of those but my problem is that I'm giving all 5 dogs a tablet every day and the easy way is to put it in a milky way. I can't buy 7 at the weekend as, well, you've guessed it - I'd eat them there and then:o
Hope you are in work by now!0 -
Nice to meet you Bugs

Yeah - you're right - it is more likely that I give up sooner than wednesday - I have NO discipline whatsoever - even though I love it when the weight starts to come off and people comment - but I just don't have the willpower to keep it up
I know what you mean about buying the chocolate - if I had it in I would have to eat it!! Why are all 5 doggies having tablets?:( are they all poorly?:( How old are they all - they must be a handful:D what type are they and what are their names?:D
My problem is I'm never organised:o Although back end of last week I did a Mr T home shopping order and ordered loads of fressh fruit and veg and meat to make loads of healthy food but hubby's not well so is not eating
so I'm not making proper stuff (a sandwich last night - an egg custard the night before!) so I have been making myself summat quick (which is usually bad.
Like tonight - I am rushing off out again in 10 mins so I have just had a portion of chips from the chippy:eek: (I can say that on here but I can't say it on FB as my SW consultant is a 'friend':rotfl:)
Anyway, off to babysit my 4 year old God-daughter (none of my own) for an hour while they look around her school.
Thanks for the encouragement re my dad - its nice for someone to say that as I do feel like a freak for not being constantly in tears but I'm sure my time will come:( (but for now......I'll keep smiling and carry on:p)
Have a good evening and I'll try and get back on for 10 mins later.
Not a NSD today - just £1.50 on the chips:D
Take care
