How can I wrap marshmallows...

*flutterby*

A friends daughter (approx 6 years old) who came to our house last christmas became addicted to some xmas marshmallows we offered her... This year I have bought her a tub to go with her christmas present but I don't want to just wrap the tub up as it is, for a start it has the price printed on it...
Can you clever people think of anything else I could put them in? They are not individually wrapped so can't just put them lose in a stocking and thought about putting them on skewers and wrap them in cellophane like you sometimes see but they would take up so many, the marshamllows are x-mas tree shapes...
I hope someone can help...

Why don't you go into a £1 shop or look in the supermarket for a glass jar with a lid on it the type that you store dried food in and pour them in there.
It can then be a candy jar for future sweets.

I would buy a large claer plastic pudding basin, put them in it then put it on a large square of cellophane and gather it at the top and finish with a few curled ribbons:)Best Wishes

Added to the above suggestions, isn't there a little poem on here somewhere about marshmallows being snowmen poop?0

Why not buy christmas dish (like a cereal bowl, they have nice ones in Tesco and in Matalan for a couple of pounds) you could put the marshmallows in the dish, stand it on a square of cellophane pull up the edges and tie with lots of curling ribbon at the top (you can buy sheets that would be big enough in Tesco, it's labelled as tissue paper but have a look because some of the packs are definitley cellophane). If you want to hide the contents then put a square of proper tissue paper on top of the cellophane so that when you gather the sides up the tissue paper is on the inside.
Alternatively, if you have a child a similar age, why not get them to make a new label to go on the tub with lots of colours and sparkles. Or make a personalised label on the computer with some jokey remark about how much she likes the sweets! If you stick it on with something like copydex or lots of double sided tape then there would be no danger of them being able to get it off!0 -
