Providing no issues, !!!! ups or misunderstandings, normally 3 weeks should do it.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Fletcher23, the purchase process will take as long it takes. So don't set dates prematurely. Better to be flexible. Then less stressful.
When I said 3 weeks, I was responding to the time until mortgage offer.
As far as time to completion though, you are right, sit back and don't get to stressed by it all as it will indeed take as long as it takes.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Didn't get my P60 until yesterday and they want to see that, so sent it yesterday.
Hoping now it's just a few more days until we hear.
Halifax took the £315 fee for the survey early this morning/late last night. So once that's completed and they have viewed all the statements etc, it shouldn't be long.
I predict Monday we will hear. I'll be really annoyed if we pay for the survey, and that goes through fine, but then get rejected on other grounds
Annoyed in general, but I know it's a risk you just have to take sometimes. £315 is a lot to gamble when they could easily have already decided yesterday not to lend.
Do they make ANY money on the survey?0
