    can you all see this?

    Yes! Why? :)

I am in this week :D Thanks to all at FCC, esp Pigpen & Toots

I didn't get much done today. Got up early and walked the hound, then came back to find the kids about to go swimming, so dropped them off on my way to ASDA, then picked them up again on the way home!
And that has been about it!! :o
I went upstairs to catch up on Corrie, and fell asleep for about 2 hrs  Came downstairs, and the place is a mess :(

DD1 cooked dinner, DS emptied DW. I need to put the last things away from shopping, but have a serious case of CBA :o I have loaded the Dw and that is about it.
I have been looking online for a sofa bed for DD1, & I am watching one on Ebay. May go to Ikea tomorrow if I don't get it. I am sure Little Miss Sunshine would enjoy a trip to Ikea :D I have also been looking into options for a trip to the O2 on Wednesday to see Peter Kay (we could do with a laugh, as DH has nothing to laugh about at work at the mo :() It looks like it is cheaper to take the car, than the train, even though we are only in Essex (train fare £19.40 each v. pre-booked parking £20)

I have been informed that the guy we are waiting to hear from about our roof (it's been weeks!!) is going on holiday tomorrow (from his little sis - DD2's BF). So I will be calling someone else tomorrow, and getting it sorted!:mad: I hope you sorted your guttering Pigpen.

I will post my lists in a mo.....

I text gutter bloke and he is coming abot 9 in the morning after picking up his van which failed the MOT on Thursday.. he could still have let me know he wasn't coming Friday it would be polite!

Anyway.. if he turns up I can crack on sorting a plasterer and decorator.. :D

I'm going to do food then parcel up the ebay tat and I'm dragging 2 binbags down to photograph .. hopefully I can get through that tonight... actually, I'll do DS3's stuff which is in the back room first. I need about another £1000 to get the girls room sorted and replace the mattresses.. then I will think about whether we need a twin pram or not.. I'm not getting the cot until it is needed.

  • I'm in too.

It has been raining since about 3pm, for the first time in months. The cats are snoring, having written off the day as a bad job.

The new fish seem absolutely delighted to be running riot in the new tank. Never seen a bunch looking so happy and moving so fast as soon as they are released into a new environment.

I have put all my clothes away and retrieved my sewing machine from the loft. Unfortunately, the spool pin is broken so I need to find a replacement. :(

However, I did totally reorganise my sewing box and get rid of a carrier bag's worth of junk from it - but strangely enough, it is even more filled now things are divided up into little takeaway boxes than when jumbled up in a complete mess.

I might have a couple of extra jobs for tomorrow now...

Trip to sewing/fabric shops. Do NOT buy half the store whilst I am there
Get bathroom cabinet put in upstairs. (I am completely fed up of bathroom gibble on the windowsill)
Fix the wardrobe shelf that one of the herberts at DD's party managed to break by standing on it.
    Reorganise food cupboards.

Minion is currently using lots of hot water for a shower and will hopefully not make too much mess up there, as I am losing count of how many times I have mopped the floors in the last 36 hours.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Right I'm going to get my bum into gear this week. Haven't joined in last week as myself and my son have been poorly, he's 3 months old and had a temp of 39.1C (was taken drs) :( While mine went to an impressive 39.3C I didn't have a clue what was going on lol. All better now aside from the odd seriously dizzy/lightheadness moments (if you know the feeling you get right before you faint).

Had an eventful day today, with the children at my mums - obviously everyone knew what was best for my children more than I did:rotfl: I don't have any in-laws (OH sadly lost both parents) but my family more than make up for it.

Missed out on making a frog list so I'll just think of things as they come if I think I'll be up to it. I will have cleaning the car out as one of them for a 'lighter' day (well, what I consider a light day tends to be a living room day). Will be taking it easy this week until the 'fuzzy head' goes away :D

Pigpen - I actually got my childrens cot from freecycle. Someone was giving away a mama's and papa's cot, it's lasted through my daughter using it and my son is about to be evicted from our bedroom into it. May be worth checking places like that (even if I did turn the matress down and take it without - bought a new one)
