    caged hens eggs are always cheaper. i personally would never knowlly eat eggs fron these poor chickens

    tescos had 12 choc eggs for £1.50 today!

    Free Range are not necessarily better... than battery - do some research. Check to ensure where you know which farm they came from - and the conditions.

    thats why i don't buy supermarket eggs, i buy mine from my local farm, they cost me £3.50 for a tray (30)

    One reason why we built a fenced in run in our garden and bought our own chicks and quail, happy healthy birds, lovely eggs and good fun to keep and train - even get more than one egg a day from some girls so must be doing something right! :j
