I am thinking about listing some of my makes on these sites, just wondering which is the better out of the two?

I do well on folksy (well, when I have time to run my shop!) - not tried etsy as it's huge and I have too little time to manage more than one shop. cel x

Etsy would be the bigger site with more audience. I have found that mid century/retro items are very popular in the US and Canada and something that was listed twice on Ebay and didnt sell sold within days on Etsy to someone in Canada.

Hi have 2 shops on Folksy and do quite well. I have never tried Etsy as i think its too big and i haven't really got the time to do that as well as running the 2 shops on folksy plus selling on my facebook page, keeping my blog up to date and trying to get into twitter and pininterest and attending the odd craft fair - oh and working fulltime with a young family aswell!!

I think there are pro's and cons off both sites though

I'm so glad this question has been asked because I have been thinking about this for a few weeks. Maybe the Folksy one would be better for me. Are they easy to set up please, I'm a bit thick with techie stuff lol

Dizzytina how many hours are there in your day please!! I'm tired out just reading what you achieve, you have some fab makes on your blog too :)

pop over to the forum there and say hello ("crafty chitta chatta" is probably the busiest sub-board; the forum is a slower paced one than this one which moves at light speed sometimes!) :) Folksy is very easy to set up and if you need advice, both the users and the admin can help you :) cel x
