Saw this offer in Lidl leaflet today starting this Thursday..hth
  • :rotfl: trip to asda =petrol/bus fare/taxi fare:rotfl:

Now there I might agree with you, I never bother with Asda either as it's too far for one thing, however, for some people the trip is nothing, or they shop there anyway. If not I'd wait for a more local offer, Tesco & Morrisons also have them on offer from time to time.

Another alternative is to buy from Tesco & get them price matched. Seems to work as shown below, so still £6.:)

Hubby picked up some on Wednesday, lovely price but I can't say I like them enough to buy 24 can :rotfl:you crazy moneysavers :p

:rotfl: I bought 12 packs last week, another 14 packs on Friday and DH went on Saturday and picked up another 6 packs for me. You can see we get through an awful lot of beans.

True but not everyone has an Asda

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Branston-Baked-Beans-Tomato-Sauce/dp/B004EF1FJ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1307302707&sr=8-1

It works out 32p a tin from Amazon or 25p a tin from Asda. Plus you can get necta points from Amazon

I know, I for one don't have an Asda, but as it was an Asda offer thread I was thinking more about pricecheck..
