Been busy busy and very slowly we are reducing our debt.
In 2008 i returned to work after having dd, and finally we took our head out of the sand. Saw an amazing financial advisor who told us about CCCS. We contacted them and realised that we had nearly £46,000 of debt and minimal ways of clearing it.
We set up a plan and we were looking at at least 12.7 years to clear it.
Since then we have gone on to have dd2, and have managed to increase our payments through budgetting and now have 7 years left to pay, with an overall debt of approx 38,000.
But the thing that has amazed me is that since getting ourselves financially sorted, we are more organised in everything in our day to day lives.
We are now looking for ways to reduce our budget faster, but feel like we are getting somewhere and it's thanks to you guys.

Have just been brave enough to look at our debt on CCCS website and am amazed that we have already paid off £10,000. Have now put a load of kids toys on gumtree and are hoping to make some spends.xLBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/20180
