Cooking more than one Sunday roast

Options
Hi everyone.

Probably a stupid question, but I have some friends coming over today at short notice, so have taken two joints out of the freezer instead of our usual one.

In terms of cooking time, how long should I allow? Do I go by the combined weight of the two pieces, or will that leave them overdone?

i would calculate cooking as 2 separate pieces of meat as otherwise you will end up with burned meat.

I do sometimes cook a chicken and a gammon together and they freeze what we dont eat, I cook them as if I am cooking them on their own if you know what i mean

Thanks. I wasnt sure whether that would be sufficient time.

i would have wondered the same thing possibly :)! This thread - what can i cook in the oven whilst shows how you can really use your oven space up so it confirmed in my brain you can in fact cook as many items in the oven at one time.

I will merge this with quick qs later on

    Zip :)
