If cordial is anything like me, they mean they perhaps forget whether they've just read the thread, or actually applied for the freebie


Simple answer to solve the confusion with duplicate posts - be polite, thank the person whose link you used, and if the 'thanks' button is still on the OP, the thread is a duplicate (to you)
