I haven't won but have a question

Hope this is the right place to ask this question,

Alot of the competitions im entering ask for a phone number - I have been putting my house phone number in but work full time and don't have a answer phone so don't know if this will really help.

Do a lot of people get informed of wins by phone please or is it normally email... I don't want to miss out on a biggie as I wasn't here to answer th call

a mobile phone is better in my opinion on pay as you go

In answer to your question its a mixture of 4 things

1.emails
2. phonecalls
3. a lot of the time things just turn up with no clue where from
4. direct message from facebook and Twitter but I have never had any luck with the latter

I only give out my mobile number for comps as Im at work at lot of the time and I sometimes receive the odd text message but not to many.

I have only had one call about a win but it was for £1,000. The other wins have been advised by email or just arrived. One was advised by email and then by phone too.

I have had one phone call informing me of a win and I'm glad I'd given my moby as even though I was in the house at the time the number came up as "unknown" which I never answer off the landline - I answered off my mobile as I only give the number out to friends or for comps so had a hunch it was a win. Turned out to be 6 take that tickets and I'm not sure they would have left a message as one of the available dates was for the next day. Most of my other wins have notified me by email or facebook but would definitely give a mobile if you're out at work through the day.
