my broker says they are unable to get a decision in principle as they are having trouble with our address history (we've stayed in flats and some bills have flat c while others have flat 1/L).
we were told to register on the electoral roll so we did that a few days ago, how long does it take for this to be updated so we are on the register?

it takes 1-3 months to appear on the ER.
My OH registered on the ER at his new address two months ago now but the registration still isn't appearing on his credit files despite the council having confirmed he is registered. Takes time to filter through unfortunately

When I enrolled on the electoral roll, I contact Experian (whom the mortgage company searched with) and explained my situation; they then updated and got back to me within 24hours. It took around 4-5 days after my call for the information to appear on the credit report. My score also jumped up 50 points into the excellent category, so it was very worthwhile!0
