Are there new rules on self employed?

My ex does some self employed work as a film extra. He works for a specific company. All his earnings are free of tax and it is down to him to declare his earnings to the inland revenue.
I know for a fact he does not declare most of his earnings.
But, he told me the other day that the company he works for has now been told by the inland revenue that there are new rules and the company has to send a list of all monies paid each month and to whom. Has any body heard about this new rule and what effectively does it mean?
Does this mean that I could actually get some maintenance out of him now? I suppose the fact that he is still classed as self employed means that I've still got no chance.
I like the fact the new "CSA" will be asking parents to sort out maintenance between themselves. :rotfl: The last time I tried that I was offered £10 and told he couldn't really afford that. That was the only payment I've had this year.

There are specific rules relevant to people working in the film/television industry, whether your ex falls under these rules or not it's hard to say. You can notify HM Revenue & Customs about him not paying tax by calling 0800 788 887.Quidco savings: £499.49 tracked, £494.35 paid.0
