Does anyone know a decent website for mail order flowers?
My Girlfriend does not live near me and whilst I have already given her a Christmas present I would like to send her some flowers to be delivered on 23rd or Christmas Eve just to say I am thinking of her and I think she is great.
Any ideas?

hi!
Have a look at valueflora... really good deals and offers... i have used them many a time... been brilliant!
http://www.valueflora.com/uk/index.htmApril 2014: A CAR!!!!!! :j 60th Anniversary Edition of Playboy mag signed by Hugh Hefner/Family pass to Twinlakes Family Theme Park/Rio 2 Goodies/£15 Promod Voucher/Nivea Sensitive Prize pack/John Frieda Cosmetic bag and bits/Tickets to New Kids On The Block + Meet and Greet0 -
Sorry my advice is ster clear of valueflora. Here is our story:
Between my mum and I we purchased 6 of their christmas special offer arrangements and 1 has never arrived and the other 5 all had mouldy flowers in them and looked a mess. Value flora have been informed and they confirmed the one that is missing was sent and that we have to photograph all the others!
My poor mum has had to send 5 new arrangements out to everyone (from another company at tremendous expense) as an apology as each could have been taken as an insult.
Nothing has been said about the one that never arrived. Do not ever purchase anything from this company!0 -

Who did you go with in the end?
If you're on the look out for some in the future (say the 14th of Feb), here are my recs (and trust me, I have a lot of experience in this area
)
http://www.crocus.co.uk/valentines/ (my absolute favourite site - the flowers are amazing, great customer service - you want to go all out, these are the ones :T )
http://www.bunches.co.uk/ Good budget option - better than supermarkets, but not *too* pricey. Come with free chocs too - always a bonus! :rotfl:
http://www.post-a-rose.com/ The rose specialists (although I think if it's just standard red roses you want, they're better value at crocus).....some lovely specialist flowers here (black baccaras....... :A )
http://www.clareflorist.co.uk/ Good all round option....some nice seasonal stuff!
All of these are on quidco, and bunches are on ipoints if that's your bag....
Anyway, HTH!

I went for a years supply of Roses for my wife with https://www.post-a-rose.co.uk as they seemed to be priced competitively. The flowers were very very disappointing. They looked colourless and limp. They always died within a space 4 days. That is very poor.
After 6 months and two complaints, I gave up and cancelled. My wife deserved better.0
