Just a quick dash in and out as it's past my bedtime.

Just got back from seeing Take That at Manchester and they were awesome. :cool: Managed to get seats undercover, which was a relief as it poured down. Even the band got wet!

In tesco - had 4 coupons and scanned my shopping. Never used a ss till before so was slow. Anyway tried to use 1st coupon, scanned it and put it in the slot but it didn't register. When I tried the ss till at Sainsburys, I only had about 5 items. I scanned them and had no coupons. Pressed pay with cash and put my £20 note in for my £4 shop and it kept asking for more money. In the end the SA had to open the till up, take my £20 which was there and then we still had to go to an ordinary till.

Not gonna risk that again. The ss till is too slow for me. lol


DS has used ss tills with coupons, no problem though, its just me they don't like.

I was the same at my local Mr T. Had to get the SA over a number of times, I have gone back since only this time when the coupon doesn't register going through the slot I give it a big thump - it seems to work :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

morning everyone, blackout curtains worked 6.46 this morning :j:j, so i'm having a good morning today, even better that it is dd birthday today and her lovely grandad has bought her a a nice shiny laptop so more mocs for me :j. busy day though need to go and do real food shopping with not many mocs but off to metro radio live tonight courtesy of half price tickets from groupon. have a good day everyone xx

If that's the case try ask them @ the counter ( they always hide it:rotfl:under the counter) for some coupons its valid till end of this month - I sent all mine to my small sis Blue.
