    Hey guys,
I am out of hosp - but ive managed to lose the job, they have no more training dates available 'but will keep me informed if any vacancies come up' i kept them up to date, and it wasnt like it was my fault!
I am gutted, so its back on the job hunt for me, I am really upset because me and the OH want to get engaged, but its all very expensive and he is the only one working and i feel so guilty (even though he says its fine!)

I am on the mend now, thank god, came home to a house like a bomb has hit it mind, my 'man' is a 'man' he doesnt do cleaning, or cooking lol!!!

    Hope everyone is well??

What have i missed? Tesco giving stuff away for free? *wishes*

    xxx

Glad you are feeling better, and sorry about the job, i'd have thought they'd at least be a little more kind since it wasn't your fault:eek:

You can always have a frugal wedding. i'm sure there is a section for frugal weddings somewhere on here :D

Went to Asda last night. They have Surf 50 wash washing powder for £5, they have it in three scents. Erm, i got some Loreal cleansing milk for £1 on the normal toiletry aisle. Didn't see a single receipt, guess they have checked them all themselves!.

Got some £1 toffeecrisps, 5 in a packet, and some kelloggs squares, forgot my apg voucher. Thats about the excitment from me for today :p

Oh and they talk more on the non drivel thread about drivel, then you guys do here, it is calmer here :)

I actually are posting on the non drivel for the first time, as i was bored of tesco talk, as i dont like them, they seem greedy, and always accidently charge more for the stuff. i know maybe you can get whatever they do now, double the difference or something, but its not the point, they shouldnt charge the wrong price for it to begin with!

I'm also getting more into sainsbury's as they have oops price tags if you have a look, and people don't shove others out the way, unlike in morrisons

yes I had a quick look on the other thread, and too much chat, so just skimmed through and left. thanked a few useful posts.

Tesco do double the difference if they overcharge you. No, they shouldn't do it in the first place but it has been lucrative for people where they do. But there are dedicated threads for this.

my Sainsbury's have 3 whole shelves dedicated to whoopsie food everyday. if you go at certain times of the day, they have really reduced the food down to things like 30p, etc, as otherwise it will go in the bin.

    Morning all....

Well done TBN...my £100 wins were paid as £101.32, as I sent them recorded...did you just send them ordinary post?Bit risky imho...they could have claimed they never received them especially with all the mess they had caused re paying out.

I just sent them as normal post but got proof of posting as to be honest I didn't think they would pay out, so didn't want to waste any more money on recorded! No sign of the other 3 that were in the envelope, and the £100 win has my surname spelled incorrectly - got a K instead of an L . My bank is pretty good about it though, I had a really shocking one (my fault) on the Sharwoods cheque before we all realised that we were getting cheques as well as mocs.

Still got to put 2 claims in for wins using new email I set up just for velvet - AndrexPuppyDog :rotfl:

oh hugs for you RM, just read your post (((((((((((hug)))))))))))))

    How cheeky??????

I know a couple of peeps have mentioned thread 21 has got a little too Tesco and the banter on here is much lighter. As long as peace remains I am happy! ;)

I have built quite a stash with my coupons and I'm busy trying to make a dinner party with all the proceeds (thanking my sis for her support). However struggling and it looks like we'll be eating fairy washing up liquid on our cheerios if I don't get creative! :rotfl:

First prize to the person with any meal ideas from our current coupon stash!
:TI've saved £518.70 with mocs and CS since 15 May (yes, I am keeping count!):T
