Tesco SEL Printing Error - Cuprinol Teak Oil

Hi,

Just been to Tesco in Coatbridge and was looking for a tin of Cuprinol Garden Furniture Oil. The regular cans of 750ml were £12.99 and beside them were spray can of 500ml of the same stuff with an SEL at £9.99 - no bargin so far.

Then I noticed a second SEL which said 6x 0.5l £9.99 - 6 cans for the price of one, surely not. Discussion with customer services (not a difficult one in anyway) lead to that conclusion. The SEL was a printing error and if I wanted the 6 cans for £9.99 I could have them. Kerrrching :T!

The customer services manager removed the SEL in Coatbridge however, but you may find this in other stores.

The product is Cuprinol Garden Furtinture Teak Oil in a 500ml spray can.

It struck me that Tescos charter to refund double the difference where the incorrectly charge you at the til may have come into play with this. However, I cannot validate this, only that if the label is on the shelf you should be able to get the 6 cans for the price of 1 or £60 of goods for £10!

Good luck!!
