Hi.
1) Log into Quidco
2) search for a Merchant you would like to shop with (either via search bar, or via Merchant sub-menus) - ie Play.com
3) Open the play.com screen and it gives you some 'spiel' along with a notification of a 2% discount
4) Look at the 'Statistics' on the right hand side of the page, tracking speed indicates how quickly purchases via this merchant appear on the quidco payment chart, tracking reliability indicates how often these tracking with this merchant fail, payment speed indicates how long this merchant takes to pay out.
5) Click the 'Click here to visit this merchant and earn cashback' button and then proceed with the purchase as normal.
After you have made the purchase it take a little while (sometimes) for the merchant to report back to quidco, vut say 24 hours later log back into quidco and goto 'my earnings' (in grey bar near top of screen). Your purchase should appear under the 'Tracked' column (if you drill down into the detail of the month you should see an estimated payment date). Sometime later it should become verified (merchant has confirmed they will pay out), and finally 'Received' which is the point at which you can request that Paypal pay the money to you.
The first £5.00 earned in a calendar year goes to Quidco (as an admin fee), but if you don't earn you don't pay. You can request payments by either Paypal (free) or BACS (5p per payment)
Any other queries let me know.0 -
Hello.
Check this thread for a few questions answered.
Basically you log on to quidco with your username and password, search for a shop from whom you want to buy something click the link to that merchant on the Quidco site and make your purchase.
It's pretty straightforward. One thing I would point out: try and use Internet Explorer when using the site. I used Firefox the first time, and the process didn't work...0 -

Should add what appears is the merchant, purchase amount, and earning amount (2%).
Always check if there are any additional details on the quidco 'merchant' page before clicking through, as some retailers may allow/disallow specific purchases for calculating the commission0 -
Yeah - what Dazza MK said! (Much more useful than my post!) although remember: although Quidco charges nothing on payments through Paypal, Paypal themselves take 3%, so it's better to go through BACS. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong here)0

Great, very helpful info - thanks guys.
I bought something on HMV this morning and when i clicked the button on quidco to go there and earn the cashback it just re directed me to the HMV site but there was nothing there about quidco - i ordered the goods anyway and am hoping it went through.0 -
Sometimes the Quidco % discount wont kick in if you use other discount vouchers.0

thats ok, the site you go to will not mention quidco, although the url you go through on might be different, e.g. hmv.co.uk might be hmv.co.uk&referrer=2345 or something.
just make sure you complete the transaction, and i would not suggest havingthe same merchant site open, in another browser just in case.0 -
oh ok, just looked at my quidco account again and it is right there in the tracking section - thanks very much to all who replied!0

#5 Paypal's 3.4% + 20p only applies if you have a Premier / Business Account otherwise its Free (although a 20p withdrawal fee if withdrawing less than £50)0

Is Quidco better than rpoints or the other cashback sites?0
