I need help with John Lewis price match please?

Hi there
My hubby has bought me a kitchen trolley for Christmas from John Lewis. It cost him £399, however i've just seen it for sale at the homestore.com for £279 :eek: I'm really grateful for such a lovely present, however £120 is a lot of money to pay extra.

Does anyone know if its posssible to get John Lewis to pricematch with an online store (bearing in mind we used johnlewis.com as we dont have a shop nearby)

I believe that Never Knowingly Undersold doesn't match online prices. Could you return it if you've had it less than 2 weeks?

Yes I went to their site and read that bit you mentioned. However, as there's no John Lewis near me so I had to buy from them online, surely they can just be lumped with other online stores?

I've only had it a day or two so I can get them to take it back but its rather big and I could do without the hassle so near Christmas. I've emailed them and i'll update when I get a reply
