Alliance and Leicester Account Charges

Anyone who opened an Alliance and Leicester Bank account (there were some good incentives with quidco a little while ago) be aware that they are charging £5.00 a month if you don't pay in £500 per month.

Yes. Looks a very attracive account but once they suck you in with the initial offer they hammer you with stupid charges for nowt with every opporunity.
Also as I joined them before the 10% accounts where availiable I was not eligable for that type of savings account.

Oh b*&%$er - and I've just started the ball rolling to dump Halifax and open an A&L account, to profit as per the link on this site's home page!!!
However, I do intend to put my measly NHS salary into it, enjoy the recommendation bonus, as well as get a lot of relief from my £1500 overdraft - A&L 0%, Halifax 13 point something.0 -
