How far in advance can I reserve a mortgage deal?

Just curious to know if there is an industry standard or does each lender vary?

Depends on lender, up to 6 months0

Is it for a purchase or a remortgage and do you know what lender you're looknig at?
Generally speaking 3-6 months (depening on the lender)0 -
Remortgage -current deal ends in Jan 2012 but no particular lender yet.:j0

Start looking to make an application around October or so and you should be fine0
