Just arranged a FD mortgage; they got application on the Monday and texted approval on following day.0

I would give them a buzz tomorrow to check progress. If they have all your supporting documents and assuming the valuation has been instructed and completed (do you know if it has??) I'd expect a formal mortgage offer by the back end of next week.0

Craig - we've been waiting a week too. Yesterday our broker told us that it had been passed to the underwriter for decisioning but still no news this afternoon. I can only imagine the bank holiday has left them with less time this week?

Hi folks.
Heard back today from my MB ( hes an in law maybe hes putting us to the bottom of pile as he is doing this as a favour for us). Abbey now want wage slip from 21st of may witch is fair enough. ive gave them 6 wage slips already back dating to 24th march. One of witch is a holiday pay slip with 3 weeks pay in it. also gave them 2010/11 P60 and bank statements, this all seems like stalling tactics, or am i paranoid? also why did it take a week and half for them to want this pay slip? what else are they going to request, beginning to get on my goat! lol

Then suggest you take up yoga at evening class. House purchase can be a very stressful and frustrating exercise. The mortgage application is on the whole normally the least irratating part. :beer:0
