Hi
Just after some advice
I have a loan that is with Blair Oliver Scott and am looking to do a full and final settlement
They have offered an settlement figure of 75%
Can anyone give me any advice on what sort of % figure they may reduce this further?
Thanks

Depends on the situation with your debt.

As they are in house collectors and your debt is still owned by the bank they don't tend to accept very low F&Fs.

How long ago since you paid the debt? do you have an arrangement to pay BCW a monthly amount? if so based on this how long would it take you to pay off?

Really all you can do is try going back to them with a lower written offer and seeing if they accept. I'd be surprised if they'd go for less than 50% but you might get them to something a little over this.

You know to make the offer in writing and get written confirmation from them of the deal before you make the payment I presume?
