Yes, the wondrous wizard Merlin has used his powers to come to "our time" (by which I mean, the early 80s) to open a shop in a grimy strip mall in a small, dusty Midwest US town - a shop that sells Mystical Wonders!

Yes, this film includes such mystical wonders as: a grotesque dwarf-goblin-troll thing, a cat getting burnt alive, a man cutting his wife's wrist open, a dog choking to death in a smoke filled garage, a monkey possessed by a demon, a man being crushed by a tree, an exploding house, a man having his neck bitten open by a rabid cat (with lots of blood), a seance, Satan himself, infertility, a Rock and Roll Martian, and a woman who is married to her own son. And yes, this is a PG rated film!

If you want to laugh at inept film making, then by all means, buy it. If on the other hand, you want a pleasant movie for your family, then don't, unless you really want to subject your family to the mystical wonder that is Ernest Borgnine in a tight sweater vest.
