BHS Returns issue

Wondering if any one else has encountered this issue.

Whenever I try to return any stuff to BHS they make a big issue of 'Card Holder Not Present' inspite of me having access to my partner's pin.

So why is refunding the money a big issue - even if the card holder is not present as long as it goes to the same card it was debited from.

I have had no problems with other stores....BHS specifically seems to be focussed on denyiny or atleast making returns very painful.

Make you wonder what does BHS stands for Bunch of ....

You shouldn't be using your partner's credit card in the first place and certainly not know the pin - it is in breach of the Terms & Conditions of use. It can make your partner liable for any fraud committed on the card, whether by you or anyone else, as the card holder has a duty to keep all this information secure and is demonstrably not doing so.
Get yourself put as an "Authorised User" on the account and you will get your own card, shiny new pin and no hassles from anyone (shops at least).

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I agree with SP - you shouldn't be using someone else's card, even for a refund.

If for some reason the chip didn't work (as occasionally happens with mine as my card is getting old and has been well used!) you wouldn't be able to sign using a signature that wasn't your own.

It's generally very easy to get an additional card on an account - you OH just needs to phone the card provider.
