Hello all first time posting, took the giant leap on tuesday the 31st of may the lady at the court said the or would call me either later that day or wendsday, still not heard anything a bit worried that there is a problem or is it normal not to hear anything thankyou in advance.

I would not worry, the IS have lost a lot of staff recently.

I went BR on 27th, only had OR interview yesterday, first contact was at that time.

I wouldn't worry - provided you gave the right phone number and address they will be in touch. But if it reassures you just give them a ring, they'll probably just tell you the same as dojoman, that they're very short staffed.

Plus of course you need to factor in the extra days holiday they get at the Spring Bank Holiday for the Queens Birthday, usually taken on the Friday before or the Tuesday afterwards.

I called my O/R office after 48 hrs of going to court as I was told to expect a call the same day. It was a good job as they hadn't received our paperwork and had to chase the court - all due to a "dodgy fax machine".

i was declared BR on the 15th june and only have my OR interview next thursday, the 14th of july. i guess it depends on how busy they are
