la z boy

we are after some new sofas for our new house and thought about la z boy ones

anyone have any experience with them ?

i kind of like the look of the sophia 3 seater
id post a pic but im not allowed

or any other brands that we should look at

yes, i've got a la z boy 2 seater recliner sofa and a single recliner in fabric and they are fantastic - cured my backache actually, used to suffer with a very achey back but not had problems since i go them

but definitely try them first in person, don't just buy online, reason being that the height and seat depth of all the models will suit you slightly differently, for example my dad has a leather la z boy recliner and it's definitely made for a man, i don't find it too comfy at all because the depth from back to front of the seat is too long

only thing i would say is that you do get a wee bit of noise, i've got some squeaks right now so going to wd40 it this weekend

i got mine from an independent retailer who set them all up for me, paid a wee bit more than i would have online but appreciated the good service because they are very very heavy and the sofa in particular looks like it would be very difficult to put together yourself (because the bases and backs and seats all separate)
