Hi
This has probably been covered before but I can't find anything.
I have recently become disabled due to Arthritis which means I find it very difficult to enter the job market. I would like to try to make an income at home using my computer.
I am a bit of a cynic and treat most things i see online as suspicious and have already ticked off several scams claiming to make you rich with little effort. Well, I am not afraid of effort. I just want to find something that is honest and straight up that i can work at.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance

Hi
well, as you've already found out - there's not many legitimate moneymaking opportunities on the internet, but read this thread thoroughly and you should come up with something.
People mainly seem to :
Sell on Ebay (start off clearing your house of unwanted stuff, then possibly find a niche product that you could buy and sell on?).
Write blogs (free blog with Blogger.com) and advertise on them (very poor income, mine are making about £3 per month at the moment), good if you have a strong knowledge or interest in a subject.
Do suveys - most pay around about £1 each or points and vouchers, okay if you are time rich and cash poor!
Write reviews for review sites - again, not too lucrative!
Sell on Amazon Marketplace - mainly books and CDs, but the life seems to have gone out of this market for me!
Make something and sell it on Folksy or Etsy - good if you are crafty, can paint or draw or take good photos, etc.
Can't think of anything else but other people may have some ideas - good luck with it.0 -
There are plenty of valid ideas on the forum and generally it becomes very obvious which of them are best avoided once the discussion begins.
Beyond what MrsMoney has listed above you could also do a quick scan of the first 3 or 4 pages which will offer things such as home-based call centre work, article submission sites, etc, etc.
It might be beneficial if you were to list a few things that you think you would enjoy turning a hand at and then some of the regulars on here might be able to offer specific ideas.Signaller, author, father, carer.0
