I'd just forward their letter on to your Trustee to deal with. They should have accepted the details you gave them and can look them up online for confirmation. Hopefully your Trustee will send them away with a flea in their ears. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

I have been dealing with moorcroft for a couple of years now and they are appalling! They aren't so bad in writing but on the telephone they verge on the abusive - they simply are trained to be bullies - pass the letter onto your trustee. Good luck.0

I had a similar problem with Scott & Co after my bankruptcy. They phoned me constantly, sent threat letters and were downright abusive on the phone. The guy insisted on shouting down the phone at me, using my full name so that i'm sure everyone in their office knew what was going on.
I refused to send them details, as they should be more than capable of finding proof themselves, and also made a formal complaint to Scott & Co over the matter.
After about 6 weeks I stopped hearing from any former creditors / DCAs.Feb 2024:
CC1 6537.66
CC2 7804.45
CC3 4221.17
CC4 2053.68
CC5 989.30
Loan 1 3686.44
Loan 2 5275.22
Total £30,567.920 -
i was adviced to send a copy of my bankruptcy. even though i have given them the number etc. the inslovency lady i spoke to said that debt collection agencies are usually really bad (and to be fair they prob do get fobbed off by people telling them they are bankrupt when they arent (sorry, just playing devils advocate)), so send a photo copy of your bankruptcy directly to them0

hi..no BR is obliged to forward any copies of their BR to any creditor.
Once the BR is stamped in Court, all the BR's financial affairs are completely under the control and supervision of the OR.
Any letter from DCA's or creditors should simply be forwarded to the OR.
Or, binned if one cannot be bothered.
Any [abusive] phone calls should be rebuffed, or if so inclined, logged, and reported to the OR, etc.
Once BR, the BR individual has no business entering into any form of negotiation with a creditor...that is the OR's job.
Whilst it may take time, the OR will be in contact with relevant creditors.......
In the meantime, be safe in the knowledge that there is absolutely nothing [legal] a creditor can do once one is BR.
Entering into any form of communication with certain creditors does nothing more than encourage them into further contact.
If, by chance a BR has been bullied into sending any form of payment to a creditor, they should contact their OR immediately with details...the creditor will be forced to return the money.
However, it must be said, some creditors simply hope to 'get away with it'...No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -

The easiest way to stop phone calls is to ask your telephone company for a new number, and be very selective who you give it to. Then any contact from them will only be in writing, which you can pass on.0
