Advice re: when to get house valued - before decoration completed or after?

Hi

Simple question - I'm about 4 weeks or so away from house being fully ready to go on sale - I have some decorating to do and I also need to sort out lawn - very patchy!

Should I wait until all done for agent to value or will they truly be able to look beyond this?

I'd like to know what the possible sell price might be, but can wait if worthwhile.

I'd wait until it's in show home state and then ask for valuation but also if there's anything you can do to improve saleability. But if you're not sure what you need to do to get it to that state then by all means get someone around now and they hopefully should be able to point out what's worth concentrating on. Good luck!
