    Re living with my parents, it's not ideal and certainly not a long term solution, but it is a great opportunity to put ourselves in a better position financially, we may not get this chance again. They love seeing their grandchild every day, and if things get tense she certainly makes us all laugh!

    It got to the point where money was so tight I would get stressed if my husband went on a short car journey that was not completely necessary for fear of spending extra money.

    Deep down I feel I am doing the right thing, but people love to put doubts in your mind!
  • Youre not coming off 'the ladder' because 'the ladder' doesn't exist. Houses prices are falling so why would you be mad to sell a depreciating asset? By selling now and taking the equity you are putting yourself in a superb position to buy back into the market at a lower price. It sounds like a very sensible idea to me.
