The Council of Mortgage Lenders (CML) has raised its forecast for net lending – the amount lent minus repayments – by 50% from just £6 billion in 2010 to £9 billion for 2011, increasing to £12 billion in 2012 as the recovery continues.

    What Recovery?

Its clear from the international economic indicators are slowing down or falling. All the international community has done is delayed the economic problems with low interest rates and quantative easing. The end result delay in problems and rampant inflation.

House prices are extremely overvalued still, with a big and growing split between asking prices and selling prices. Wages frozen and inflation eating what's left. I can't see where the CML are coming from.
