I must admit that I'm having an attack of 'pregnancy brain', though. Why is it essential to use tie handle bags in a frost free freezer?
Not using those specific bags but ensuring they're tied before putting into the freezer( I'm not explaing myself very well am I .......It's been a tough old day :0 )
I'm not technically minded but I think it's to do with preventing moisture getting into the freezer which will cause a build up of ice . In the same way you have to use a covered ice cube tray .
Congrats on the pregnancy:j covered ice cube trays are a great way of freeing homemade baby food. When it comes to weening Annabel Karmel's book 'Feeding Your Baby and Toddler' was a Godsend to me with my 2 DD's
Good Luck with the pregnancy

Thanks for that - I do have a frost free freezer, so that's handy to know!
Also, thanks for the congrats on the pregnancy. Almost halfway through now, so getting there slowly.

John Lewis have a set of 20 boxes for £12, I haven't bought them yet but intend to... but I swear by Lock and Lock for anything perishable (not frozen, eg biscuits or flapjack) and for transporting anything (I take my soup to work in these).0

YEp I do the same, don't buy stacks of tubs, just put them into a bag and then into the dish/tub, then pop them out of the dish/tub once frozen and reuse the dish/tub. Single portion ones try margarine/icecream tubs, or even takeaway ones. I haven't got the space for loads of tubs in my freezer. One day I might be more organised...........
