Northern Rock Arrears

Hi,

Im hoping someone can give me some advice regarding my northern rock mortgage and debts. Long story, short version.

Soon to be ex husband did a bunk over 2 years ago leaving me with the house and all the crap that comes with it. We have a together mortgage ( yes i know bloody stupid ) and Northern Rock have been great up until now....

Other half has not and refuse to pay a penny towards anything and i am unemployed due to mental health problems, the mortgage is currently on a interest only basis and is £301 per month of which the DWP pays £198...i know im going to end up getting repossesed but it is the unsecured element that is worrying me, the monthly repayments should be £79, not much i know but i just cant aford it, i went the CAB and they negotiated a debt management agreement with NR for £1 a month for 6 months which was great...but now NR are cancelling the agreement because i can not make any payments towards the secured part ( mortgage ) and i am at my wits end.....the property has been on the market for 6 months and reduced twice....NR are threatening me with Bailiffs etc if i dont pay something...i have had no boiler for 4 weeks because i cant afford to get it fixed so dont know how NR expect me to pay anything.

The secured part is in arrears of £1000
the unsecured in arrears of £560

Im going back to the CAB to get more advice but was just wondering if anyone has been or is in the same position.

Im petrified of the thought of the bailiffs and this is making me very ill.

Any advice would be appreciated, Thanks.
