Tesco plants

I was in our local glasgow superstore today, and they have a big clearance on all their plants, I bought some lovely healthy big salvias reduced from £5 to £1.25, they look great, however there was a lot of pretty sad looking bedding and veggies trying to be flogged off, but worth a look if anyone is in their local. I also got a couple of big black plant trays, the things that were holding the salvias, they are about 24 inches x 24 inches, they have a sheet of carpillary matting in them. The staff were about to chuck them out, so a handy freebie to stack plants in :)

Watford Extra cleared out all their plants yesterday afternoon. They were 75% off and then half again. Hanging baskets were 62p for example, 4 geraniums 25p, 20 mixed French marigolds 38p. I spent £3.38 in total. Took the stuff home and put it on the garden table and DH gave them all a good drink of water. FIL is coming round for dinner and will give him some to take home with him. Did not bother to post last night as there was nothing left on the shelves when I left.

Might be worth looking in other stores today
