Driving past Tesco's this morning Banner outside saying 5p off Fuel if you buy 2 packs Tesco Toilet Tissue!!!! Hubby said no you must have read that wrong:rotfl:,but sure enough if you buy 2 x Tesco Luxury Soft White Toilet Tissue(9pack). Total 7.98 you get a 5p off a Litre voucher:j

Its £7.98 for 2 x Tesco 9 roles. The cushelle is currently £7 for 24 roles.

Tescos = 0.44333...p a roll = 24 roles £10.64

Tesco £10.64 - Cushelle £7 = £3.64

I'd rather spend the extra 5p per litre and buy the cushelle As I'll only be saving £2.50 for 50lts of petrol.

Hope this makes sense.

Slightly annoyed at Tesco yesterday - sure they are trying to promote this one - I normally get the 12 pack of Value for £1.34, but yesterday they had no 12 packs and the gap was filled with packs of 4, with a sign about this. Now there is no way on this Earth that I am paying £1.20 for a 4 pack of their value loo roll, and am certainly not buying the offer as I do not consider it good value. May have to buy some in Lidl or Asda.
